The restaurant The Counter is an actual restaurant that was used for filming in the second episode, 50 Worst Dates. While The Counter is a worldwide franchise, the restaurant used is located at the Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree, Colorado.

Each of the characters who ate at the restaurant had very specific burgers designed to fit their personalities. Brad's was designed as the All American Boy burger complete with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and honey mustard, whereas Zach's was designed to show his very precise nature with everything listed as being on the side. Candy had the "pretty" burger with greek feta cheese, olives, and cranberries, while Shelly's was very plain and simple with just the burger and cheese.
